Hi friends and family! Every couple of months or so we meet as a whole squad for what we call debrief. Debrief is a time where we can reconnect, refresh, and come together to discuss events from the previous month(s). It is such an honor and a pleasure to have this time together. This past debrief was spent at a summer camp in the mountains of Costa Rica completely unplugged from the world. One of my favorite moments from this week was just refreshing time spent with the Lord! There were so many spots where you could just go hideaway with Jesus… how sweet!! Also, every four months or so we have TEAM CHANGES!! Though I am no longer with Mosaic Daughters, I have been placed in another group of outstanding ladies whose hearts are on fire for the Lord. C’mon, let’s go meet them…

Meet Team Fire Fall:

Alli Taylor

Position: Team Leader

Where is she from? Dallas, Texas

How has she grown in the past four months while being on the World Race? Before we left, she couldn’t wait to get away from the American church, now she has super heavy burden for it. Also, God has redeemed Christian community for her.

What is she looking forward to most on this new team? She is stoked to have really solid female relationships because those have been hard for her to come by throughout her life. She is also stoked to see everyone level up in spiritual gifts.

If she could fill a pool with anything, what would it be? Leave it empty, paint all over it with graffiti, turn it into a skate spot/coffee shop.

Karis Kononiuk

Position: Treasurer

Where is she from? Springfield, Missouri

How has she grown in the past four months while being on the World Race? She has grown tremendously in the last four months on the World Race. The most important lesson that God has been teaching her is what it means to rest and abide in His presence daily.

What is she looking forward to most on this new team? She is excited to learn and grow alongside a new group of friends.

If she could fill a pool with anything, what would it be? She would fill a pool with plane tickets to anywhere and everywhere in world. You jump in and the first ticket you pick is your next adventure.

Mary Grace Ervin

Position: Squad Worship Coordinator

Where is she from? Grew up in Tennessee, lived in Seattle, and currently lived in Hawaii before the World Race.

How has she grown in the past four months while being on the World Race?  She has grown in intimacy with the Lord for sure! But she has grown in so many more ways with Him. She is stepping into more of what life looks like to depend and trust in the Lord fully with every single step. From getting sent home from the race last year, due to the pandemic, to now being out longer than she was originally, she has seen the Lord work and move powerfully in her life. Especially in the last four months! Really just bringing her into a closer relationship and communion with Him and pruning the things, as well as continuing to grow every day!

What are you looking forward to most on this new team? She is so excited for our new team! We have fun team dynamics and we all have unique personalities and gifts that really give us a beautiful take on the body. She is excited to see what the Lord has for us and continuing to know each other deeper, as well as cheer each other on as the Lord uses us for His Kingdom and His glory! And all the fun silly moments and laughter. Wow, what a beautiful bunch of fierce gals. What a blessing to have them as friends!

If she could fill a pool with anything, what would it be? Ahhh! A ball pit! A really fun and colorful ball pit, but then under all the plastic balls is a layer of unicorn ice cream (her fav) that you can swim in and just eat (obviously). Then, the walls of the pool would be made out of dark chocolate! The pool would be made complete by the water slide and sprinkler that spits out confetti. Also, the side of the lagoon of the pool would be full of water balloons that you would proceed to throw at everyone! What a fun pool!!

Mary Williams

Position: Beauty for Ashes

Where is she from? Houston, Texas

How has she grown in the past four months while being on the World Race? She has grown so much in the areas of intimacy and hearing God’s voice while on the race.

What is she looking forward to most on this new team? She is looking forward to championing each of her team members in their giftings and giving them other opportunities to experiment with the Lord. Also, laughter and sweet team time!

If she could fill a pool with anything, what would it be? She would fill a pool with ice cream or puppies.

Jackie Ivarsson

Position: Beauty for Ashes and COVID Lead

Where is she from? Born in Sweden, currently from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

How has she grown in the past four months while being on the World Race? Confidence for sure and still growing in that area. Confidence in God, confidence in who she is and in the giftings God has given her. It’s cool how much it has affected the way she carries herself and in doing things.

What is she looking forward to most on this new team? An all-girls team! Yay! She doesn’t have any sisters so suddenly gaining five has been so sweet. She is excited to be able to go deep with us and to have all the giggles.

If she could fill a pool with anything, what would it be? Mango bubble tea with all different flavors of popping pearls… YUM!

Paula Johnson

Position: Storyteller Intern – Photography

Where am I from? Asheville, North Carolina

How have I grown in the past four months while being on the World Race? There are so many areas where I have grown. I have stepped into a new understanding of what it means and looks like to be a daughter of our Heavenly Father. I have walked into more confidence and vulnerability. I have grasped what forgiveness looks like for myself, for others, and accepting God’s forgiveness. I have also learned hearing the Lords voice and when He speaks to me. I am so excited for what else is ahead!

What am I looking forward to most on this new team? I am really looking forward to the dynamic on this team. Each individual carries a different personality, but we all share the same love for Christ. We are team that loves and honors well, but we also know how to have a load of fun. We all love adventures, so I’m stoked to see what we will get into! Lastly, I am looking forward to learning from each of these ladies. I’m deeply excited to get intentional time together to push one another towards the Lord.

If I could fill a pool with anything, what would it be? If you know me, I love coffee, but I think I would have to settle for an ice cream filled pool topped with cookie dough bites. Tell me that doesn’t sound like a dream?

We have created a team dynamic that is so stinkin’ fun! As we are in the Dominican Republic as our first country together, we have learned so much. We have prayed for and made an atmosphere that honors one another, celebrates victories together, allows area for growth and gifts, and a place of intentionality. We are a team that is unified and one that is seeking the Lord together daily.

Please join me in prayer over my new team. Please lift each of us up in prayer during this transition and as we step into new countries. Pray that as we go into Turkey and the 10/40 window that we can serve in the best way possible. Pray that we will push each other towards the Lord and continue to love one another well. Thank you for your constant love and support.

with all my love,

PJ
